GLOBAL PULSE: The Drug War vs the War on Drugs (4/30/2010)

GLOBAL PULSE: The Drug War vs The War on Drugs (4/30/2010) – (April 30, 2010) The “War on Drugs” has created a drug war in Mexico. Arizona’s crackdown on illegal immigration is an attempt to address the results, but fails to get to the heart of the problem. Reducing US demand for drugs and the flow of guns to Mexico could alleviate the violence — but the US seems more willing to help Mexico wage war than deal with the issues behind the problem. Let’s get something straight! The US does nothing! Zilch! NADA! To stop it’s citizens from illgally consuming banned narcotics. Every commentator says the US spends millions in Mexico, guess what? The US doesn’t spend a dime. Not a single cent has been given to the mexican goverment. What has been given is a few banged up helicopters, some cop training. The helicopters are accounted for? as new and the training is billed as if it was harvard law school, but to the Mexicans nothing, nada.

the demand of crack-cocaine is unstoppable, all those pedophiles, perverts, freaks, homos and lesbians in miami want more drug, so tons and tons of it are enetering to florida from cuba, because cuba is just 80 miles away and the drug smugglers carry the cocaine on small jets and boats. Corruption and more corruption… florida sucks!? and the puppet-commie government of cuba sucks double. suckers , druggies, and commies are losers!!

They forgot to mention the fact that the c.i.a. is being funded by the mexi drug lords to allow and even facilitate drug trafficing… The us arms were most likely sold to them by the c.i.a. to kill anyone who tries to interfere with the billion dollar business. They do not want recovered addicts. They want to get kids hooked asap? and create life long drug abusers so they can maximize profits.

Why do Americans use dangerous drugs to such a wide extent? Because American culture is shallow, materialistic, life-denying, fraudulent, unsatisfying & despairing. People see thru the hypocrisy & lies of their pols & media infatuation w/ trivia. Its a nation & culture that had an incredible opportunity to advance the cause of peace, justice, freedom & prosperity around the world — but squandered that chance thru the guile, vanity & greed of? pols, war profiteers, corporations, bankers & cons.

  • H2Opolo559 says:

This is ridiculous. Taking away americans guns is not only unconstitutional but leaves us vulnerable to these drug dealing scum. And Arizonas immigration law is exactly what we need. There just bringing the drug war to america. Obama needs to stop worrying about egypt and address the? obvious issue in america.

The guns do? NOT come from normal american gun dealers. The federalis get the guns from the american feds and the cartels get them from the federalis. I think everyone knows that the CIA has been dealing drugs since vietnam’s “air america”. ask the people in los angeles who brings the drugs in

  • rllang01 says:

    @mujahedeen1987,? Its true.

  • rllang01 says:

get out of there. AZ is? going down.

  • rllang01 says:

The US govt. will never legalize drugs because drug enforcement laws give the politicians so much power.
The US politicians would rather bust the economy with deficit spending than to relinquish one inch of control that they have.

And that is? exactly what they are doing.

  • TheFreemanuk says:

Make green legal and most of this shit will? just go away.

  • juandeldiablo696 says:

what a waste of money the US will never win? the war on drugs

  • Chuckjagermeister says:

The only solution for Mexico is to legalize and regulate all drugs. Calderon has to realize that this move would be a major pioneering effort toward drug policy. They could be the first to deeply study addiction and it’s more hidden neurological and psychological effects. They (as well as everyone else) need to realize that it’s a health problem, not a legal one. When the Cartels collapse after this, maybe the USA and other countries will follow in? legalization of drugs.

  • briandawkings says:
