Legalize all drugs. The gov’t cannot regulate morality and cannot legislate virtue. It’s not effective. The “enforced” solution? does not work. Legalization will (1) end violence associated with drug dealing, (2) eliminate public expenditures on law enforcement, and (3) create a natural “moral hazard”, from a short term surge in drug use. Anyone who uses drugs, deserves what they get, given 40+ years of public knowledge regarding the effect of drug use.
